Maintenance without completely emptying the silo
WÖHWA emergency shut-off gates reliably isolate the material flow from downstream equipment. This allows feeding devices, conveyors and other components to be serviced, repaired or replaced without completely emptying the silo above.
Downstream components can be serviced or replaced without first emptying the entire stock of material.
Different designs provide solutions for fine materials as well as very coarse and irregular bulk materials.
Depending on the version, the outlet is closed manually using a sliding gate, handwheel, ratchet or individually inserted pins.
Galvanised structures, supplemented with Hardox wear protection on type 089, are designed for use in bulk material plants.
