The individual pins displace larger pieces of material sideways, allowing the discharge opening to be closed.
Partially inserting the pins allows targeted reduction of the material flow when required.
Downstream components can be serviced or replaced without completely emptying the silo.
Special sizes available on request allow adaptation to non-standard discharge openings and installation conditions.
Robust construction for very coarse bulk material
The type 089. was developed specifically for coarse, heavy and irregularly shaped bulk materials. Its individually insertable pins enable controlled shut-off even with large pieces of material.
The pins are pushed individually through the bulk material, allowing the discharge opening to be closed progressively.
The individual pins are inserted manually and can be positioned independently.
Larger pieces of material are displaced sideways as the pins are inserted.
Partially inserted pins allow targeted restriction of the material flow.
For complete shut-off, all pins are inserted fully into the discharge opening.
Special sizes are available on request to suit non-standard installation conditions.
The fully galvanised construction is designed for robust performance in demanding bulk material handling plants.
